Born in Yerevan, raised in San Francisco CA, Narek received his bachelor’s degree in Business & International Management from Menlo College, and his master’s degree in International Studies from the University of San Francisco. He also holds a certificate of International Law from the Hague Academy of International Law. Starting his professional career in the banking industry, Narek has always had a passion for communication that eventually led him to his current role. Having worked for Teach For Armenia, as the Director of Development and later transitioning to the Public Affairs team, Narek managed major campaigns and coordinated all external communications and publications. His areas of expertise are in corporate communications and marketing, brand building and maintenance, organizational fundraising, donor cultivation, planning crucial and major fundraising events and campaigns. Narek is engaged in a variety of projects and is passionate about working with initiatives that spearhead important changes and impact Armenia and the society as a whole.
