Through its varied activities and publications, ETICA provides a dynamic space for bringing together research, teaching, and public discussion around the ethical questions that shape contemporary public life in Armenia and beyond. It connects academic inquiry with the practical concerns of society, inviting reflection on the values that inform our collective decision-making. By encouraging dialogue among scholars, professionals, and citizens, ETICA not only promotes ethical awareness and critical thinking about the complex challenges of our time but it also aims to foster a tolerant and open forum for differing opinions and reasoned disagreements.
Through its integrated focus on research, education, public engagement, and institutional reform, ETICA aims to cultivate a culture of ethics across Armenia’s academic, civic, and professional spheres. The Center will strengthen national research capacity in applied ethics, develop innovative courses and training programs, and engage the public through open dialogues, youth initiatives, and collaborative events that bring ethical reflection into everyday life. By promoting transparency, accountability, and critical inquiry within higher education and beyond, ETICA seeks to embed ethical awareness into Armenia’s evolving social fabric. Ultimately, the Center aspires to position Armenia as a regional leader in ethics scholarship and to inspire a new generation of ethically minded citizens and professionals dedicated to building a just, responsible, and hopeful society.
